Refund Policy

1. Overview

Vaagn Auto Private Limited operates Vaagn — Vaagn EV Academy with a commitment to delivering high-quality, industry-grade electric vehicle training at Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. Please read this Refund Policy carefully and in its entirety before completing your enrolment and submitting any payment. By making a payment to Vaagn, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy.

We strongly encourage all prospective participants to review the programme details, batch schedules, mode of delivery, and fee structures thoroughly before completing payment. Should you have any questions, please contact us at academy@vaagnauto.com before enrolling.

2. All Sales Are Final

No refund will be issued under any circumstances arising from the participant's side, including but not limited to: change of mind or decision after payment; inability to attend scheduled sessions due to personal, professional, medical, or travel reasons; relocation to a different city or country; change in employment status; dissatisfaction with batch timing, batch composition, or instructor; technical difficulties on the participant's end during online sessions; or any other reason attributable to the participant.

Before completing your payment, please ensure that you are fully satisfied with the programme, its schedule, mode of delivery, and duration. Confirmation of payment is your acceptance that the transaction is final and non-refundable.

3. Sole Exception: Vaagn Permanently Cancels a Programme

The sole and only exception to our all-sales-final policy applies where Vaagn permanently cancels a specific programme before it has commenced, and Vaagn is unable to offer the enrolled participant a place in an alternative batch of the same programme within a reasonable period.

In this specific and limited circumstance only, Vaagn will process a full refund of the programme fee paid by the affected participant within fourteen working days of issuing a formal cancellation notice. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of enrolment.

For the avoidance of doubt: a postponement, delay, or rescheduling of a batch does not constitute a permanent cancellation of a programme. If Vaagn reschedules your batch to a different date or time, you will be offered a confirmed place in the next available batch at no additional charge. No refund will be issued on the basis of a rescheduled or postponed batch alone.

4. No Refund for Learning Mode Downgrade

If a participant who has enrolled in the Offline or Hybrid mode of a programme subsequently requests to switch to a lower-priced mode — for example, from Offline (in-person) to Online — no refund of the difference in programme fees will be issued under any circumstances.

A mode downgrade may be considered at Vaagn's sole and absolute discretion based on operational feasibility and seat availability in the requested mode. However, even where a downgrade is permitted, the participant will not receive any monetary refund, credit note, or adjustment for the difference between the fee paid and the lower fee of the requested mode. The participant acknowledges this condition at the time of selecting and paying for their preferred learning mode.

5. EMI Arrangements

Where a participant has enrolled using an EMI facility offered through Razorpay's partner banks or non-banking financial institutions, all scheduled EMI instalments remain due and payable in full according to the agreed repayment schedule, regardless of the participant's attendance, participation level, or any decision to discontinue the programme. Vaagn's Refund Policy applies to the total programme fee, and the obligation to repay outstanding EMI instalments remains solely the financial responsibility of the participant. Vaagn accepts no liability for any interest, penalty, or charge imposed by the financial institution in connection with the EMI arrangement.

6. Disputes and Chargebacks

Any attempt to initiate an unauthorised chargeback or payment dispute with a bank or payment provider — in contravention of this Refund Policy and without Vaagn's prior written consent — will be treated as a breach of these terms. Vaagn reserves the right to provide transaction records, enrolment confirmations, and communications to the relevant payment institution to contest any such dispute. Participants who initiate a chargeback may have their enrolment terminated and may be barred from future enrolment in Vaagn programmes.
